According to Reuters, in an announcement on Twitter on May 3, billionaire couple Bill Gates and Melinda said: `After much thought and consideration about our relationship, we decided to end our marriage.`

The couple owns assets of up to 124 billion USD.
Continue to operate the general charity fund
In 2010, Bill Gates and billionaire Warren Buffett initiated an initiative called `Wealth Donation Pledge`, calling on other billionaires to commit to donating at least half of their assets to charity.
The couple said that after their divorce, they continued to run this charity fund together.
After a 27-year marriage, Gates and Melinda have three children together: Jennifer (25 years old), Rory (21 years old) and Phoebe (18 years old).
