Recently, dealer sales consultants are trying to share information about the MG4 before it is launched in Vietnam.
According to sources from sales staff, MG4 is already present in showrooms and is expected to be launched at the end of May or early June this year.
Recently, a blue painted MG4 was discovered filming in Hung Yen, possibly in preparation for the upcoming launch event.
Currently, MG has not yet announced detailed information about the commercial version of MG4 as well as the official sales schedule in Vietnam.
The information that MG4 is about to be sold on the market is further confirmed when many dealers have deployed the construction of charging infrastructure.
MG4 will be MG’s first electric car model sold in the Vietnamese market.
MG4 (also known as MG4 EV) was first introduced in Vietnam during the Vietnam Motor Show 2022 event as a display car.
MG4 belongs to the B-class hatchback segment with dimensions of length x width x height of 4,287 x 1,836 x 1,504 (mm), on par with the Toyota Yaris (4,140 x 1,730 x 1,500 mm).
However, considering the electric car group alone, MG4 is currently the only car model in this segment if launched this month.
Inside, the MG4 has a minimalist style consistent with the modern trend of new electric car models.
The car is equipped with a 10-inch central screen and a smaller screen located behind the steering wheel.
MG4 offers two engine options in Vietnam.
The more advanced version is equipped with a 201 horsepower engine and a 64 kWh battery, capable of traveling up to 450 km per charge.
MG4 supports fast charging technology, can charge from 0-80% in just 35 minutes.
Regarding safety technology, MG4 is expected to be equipped with advanced features of the ADAS automatic driving assistance system.
