Recently, theĀ Volvo EX30 SUV was displayed at the 2024 Bangkok auto show (BIMS 2024).

Volvo EX30, launched internationally in mid-2023, is known as the mini version of EX90 thanks to its compact size but is equipped with many advanced technologies from its big brother.

In terms of size, the Volvo EX30 is significantly smaller than the XC40, with a length of only 4,233 mm and a distance between the two axles of 2,650 mm, compared to the 4,440 mm length and 2,702 mm base of the gasoline car.
The standard Volvo EX30 is equipped with a single electric motor with 272 horsepower and 343 Nm of torque, allowing acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds.
In return, the choice of lithium-ion phosphate battery technology helps Volvo reduce costs for the EX30, while still providing an efficient vehicle with the ability to quickly charge from 0 to 80% in just 28 minutes, helping users
Another option is an upgrade with a 69 kWh battery, which significantly improves performance with acceleration time to 100 km/h reduced to 5.1 seconds and maximum operating range of up to 540 km (one model).
Finally, the most advanced version of the EX30 has 2 motors, providing a total capacity of up to 428 horsepower and 543 Nm of torque, thereby becoming a variant that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h quickly.

In the Thai market, the Volvo EX30 is priced at 1.59 million baht, 1.79 million baht or 1.89 million baht in three versions (converted prices are 1.08, 1.21 and 1.28 billion respectively).
At the Singapore Motorshow 2024 event, Volvo revealed that the C40 Recharge and EX30 may be the company’s first electric car models in Vietnam, likely to arrive on the market later this year.
In addition to the EX30, in Thailand, the C40 is also a small crossover using two electric motors, providing a total capacity of more than 400 horsepower, with a range of 420 km.
